Privacy Policy
A LEGAL DISCLAIMER
Modern information and communication technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the activities of the BÜFA Group. We therefore take the protection of your privacy and the personal data you make available to us very seriously. Compliance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act is a matter of course for us. Below we inform you about what data we may collect and how we handle it.
What personal data is collected and processed?
You can visit our websites without us requiring any personal data from you. We only learn the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you are visiting us and the website you are visiting on our site. Personal data is only collected and processed if you use certain services. You will be informed of this in detail in the menu.
For what purposes do we collect and process personal data?
As we are constantly endeavouring to improve both our service offerings and your experience with our websites in a continuous process, the above-mentioned general data is statistically analysed. For this purpose, however, we are interested in your personal opinion and your environment. For this reason, you will be asked to provide additional information in some places. This is voluntary information, which we will of course treat confidentially.
If you make use of services, we generally only collect the data that we need to provide the services. If we ask you for further data, this is voluntary information. Personal data is processed exclusively to fulfil the requested service and to protect our own legitimate business interests.
Is personal data passed on to third parties?
We will only pass on your personal data to third parties to the extent that it is absolutely necessary for the provision of the requested service. Furthermore, we will not disclose, transfer, sell or otherwise market your personal data to other companies or institutions without your express consent. This does not apply if we are obliged to disclose and transfer the data by law or by court judgement.
Cookies
We use cookies in some areas of our websites. These are identifiers that allow us to provide you with more personalised services during your visit. We do not use cookies to collect personal data. If you wish to be informed about the use of cookies by your browser or wish to exclude them, you should activate the corresponding browser settings.
Social media
When you visit our social media pages, it may be necessary for data relating to you to be processed. We would therefore like to inform you below in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the handling of your data and your rights resulting from this.
Responsibility
We, BÜFA Cleaning GmbH & Co. KG, operate the following social media pages:
You can find our contact details in the legal notice.
In addition to us, the respective operator of the social media platform is also responsible for the processing of your personal data. Insofar as we can influence this and parameterise the data processing, we work within the scope of the possibilities available to us to ensure that the operator of the social media platform handles the data in accordance with data protection regulations. In this context, please also refer to the data protection declarations of the respective social media platform.
Data processing by us
The data you enter on our social media pages, such as user names, comments, videos, images, likes, public messages, etc., are published by the social media platform and are not processed by us for any other purposes at any time. We only reserve the right to delete content should this be necessary. We may share your content on our site if this is a function of the social media platform and communicate with you via the social media platform.
If you send us an enquiry on the social media platform, we may also refer you to other, secure communication channels that guarantee confidentiality, depending on the content. For example, you can send us your enquiry at any time to the address or email address stated in the legal notice. The choice of the appropriate communication channel is your own responsibility.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Data processing is carried out in the legitimate interest of conducting public relations work for our company and being able to communicate with you.
Some social media platforms generate statistics that are based on usage data and contain information about your interaction with our social media page. We cannot influence or prevent the performance and provision of these statistics. However, we do not utilise optional statistics from the social media platform.
We process this information in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR in the legitimate interest of validating the use of our social media pages and improving our content in a target group-oriented manner.
We also occasionally use the social media platforms described to display targeted advertising.
To do this, we use target group definitions provided to us by the social media provider. We use target group definitions - i.e. we define characteristics based on general demographic information, behaviour, interests and connections, for example. The operator of the social media platform uses these to display adverts to its users accordingly. The legal basis for this is the consent that the operator of the social media platform has obtained from its users. If you wish to revoke this consent, please use the revocation options provided by the provider of the social media platform, as the social media platform operator is responsible for this processing.
